北航2015年暑期赴美国圣玛丽大学（St. Mary’s University）访学交流实践项目报名通知

为响应学校UPS战略，提升学生国际化视野，北航外国语学院大力拓展国际合作空间，积极促进暑期交流项目，已连续多年成功举办赴美名校交流实践活动。2015年，在与美国圣玛丽大学（St. Mary’s University）建立交换生项目的基础上，根据我校学生学习语言、出国留学等实际需求，外国语学院将组织为期三周的暑期访学交流实践活动。

美国圣玛丽大学（St. Mary’s University）位于美国德克萨斯州圣安东尼奥市，风景优美，交通便利。该校成立于1852年，历史非常悠久，是圣安东尼奥最古老的罗马天主教学院，艺术文化资源十分丰富，被誉为“美国西南部教育中心”。

圣玛丽大学与北航有着长期、良好的合作办学历史。参加本次活动的同学将参加圣玛丽大学的特色暑期课程，在轻松有趣的全英文环境中，全面提高英语交流能力；此外，还可以通过校方主办的丰富多彩的活动，感受美国校园文化；并参观当地其他名校，游览附近名胜等；更有机会与圣玛丽大学的招生负责人会面，参加入学申请讲座和讨论会，为以后留学美国做准备。活动详情如下：

时间：2015年7月13日至8月2日

费用：$ 800/周。此费用包括学费、食宿、当地交通和上述活动等费用，但不包括往返机票或其他个人消费。

St. Mary’s Summer English Program

St. Mary’s University Summer Intensive English Program allows students to receive focused English Language training in a university environment.  Students can experience campus life and U.S. culture in the heartland of America.  While the basic program design it for two weeks depending on your groups needs it can be extended to up to four weeks or as short as 7 days. 

Basic 2-week program （我们三周的内容会在此基础上有所增加）

·           15 hours of English Language Instruction

·           Excursions to 2 local attractions including: Six Flags San Antonio, Sea World, San Antonio Zoo, or horseback riding.

·           Guided tours to the most prestigious universities in the region including, University of Texas San Antonio and Trinity College. 

·           Meetings with admissions officers and application workshops.

·           Half-day trip to the San Antonio Riverwalk

·           Evening activities including games, movie night and sports activities

·           Room and board on campus

·           Airport pick-up (Houston or San Antonio)

·           Local transportation

·           Mandatory health insurance
